About Me
I was born and raised along the banks of the Jersey Shore’s Navesink River. The river was and remains a source of great inspiration for me - a place where human communities can flourish in tandem with nature. My adult life has been spent traveling across North America & beyond working as a naturalist, wildlife photographer, and environmental educator. My life’s goal is to bring the wonder of the natural world and the urgency to protect it to the masses, which I now do in my work as a naturalist with Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic, independent conservation photography and programming, and here on this site.
